This is due to the fact that it is not water-tight and high moisture levels would eventually damage it and result into an inoperable installation. RAKwireless recommends to only use it in indoor conditions away from wet environments.

This antenna magnetic base is a simple solution for mounting your antenna to flat metal surfaces. It comes with an N-type female to RP-SMA male connector on a 2-meter antenna cable. If you need an SMA male connector type for connector B, kindly contact us at info@rakwireless.com.
