This bundle consists of 8dBi fiberglass antennas and an Antenna magnetic base for LoRa®.
To choose the appropriate antenna with regards to the LoRa frequency of your region, please refer to the TTN's guide, and/or the Regional Parameters Documentation provided by the LoRa Alliance.
Note: The included antenna connector is RP-SMA male and it is fully compatible with RAK's WisGate Developer Gateways and Hotspot V2. For compatibility with other devices, please check their documentation. If you want to know more about the connectors used in our devices you can see this blog.
The RP-SMA to N-Type cable (if selected) included with the antenna is designed for indoor use only. For outdoor deployment of the fiberglass antenna, please purchase the corresponding Pulsar cable.
Product Notice:
- The antenna magnetic base is not suitable for mounting outside. This is due to the fact that it is not water-tight and high moisture levels would eventually damage it and result in an inoperable installation. RAKwireless recommends only using it in indoor conditions, away from wet environments.
- This antenna cannot be used for the EU433 and CN470 frequencies.
