The WisGate Connect for Mioty includes the Miromico Miro EdgCard for Mioty. Mioty is a low-power, wide-area network (LPWAN) protocol that provides one of the most robust and efficient IoT connectivity solutions on the market. It supports a data rate of 512bits/s and has a range of up to 20 km.
Mioty is based on the patented Telegram Splitting technology developed by Fraunhofer IIS. This technology divides a message into multiple sub-packets and transmits them at different times and frequencies with low time on air (ToA) reducing the chance of interference by other networks. This allows for low Packet Error Rates (PER) and high network capacity.
Note: at the moment we only offer the 868MHz Mioty band. Please contact us if you need a different band.
The WisGate Connect for Mioty supports adding an optional LoRaWAN module for a Dual Protocol gateway. LoRaWAN support is based on the latest SX1303 LoRa core, providing better sensitivity and improved performance. The WisGate Connect for Mioty supports multi-backhaul with Ethernet, Wi-Fi, and Cellular connectivity (optional). The gateway’s enclosure design allows to bring out all the antennas for better performance. The gateway comes flashed with the latest RAKPiOS with a convenient utility to configure the Miromico card.
